About Us
The Somalia institute of financial Management and good Governance is training institute of Multi institute centers for Excellency in Capacity building of Finance professionals in the fields of public policy, financial management, governance, English competency, civil service and leadership and other skills of high demand. Our aim is an investing highest standards of professional competence and practice in workplace. IFIN was created 2021 due the need highly skilled labor force of financial management and governance. It’s registered under ministry of Finance, Federal Government of Somalia. An Institute is mandated to Train the financial professionals in federal and state governments. We plan AFIN to become a premier resource center to meet the all training needs to all FGS, not only of Ministry of Finance, Central banks but also other government organizations within federal Government of Somalia. The minister of finance of federal Government of Somalia will be president of IFIN board, the IFIN Executive team will responsible for the administration and academic programs of the Institute. Future an Academic advisory committee of IFIN will assist an executive team in all matters related to creating, maintaining and expanding academic, training and research environment to all matters of financial management, governance and beyond.

WHO WE ARE
Founded and registered in 2021 by Ministry of Finance, the Institute of financial Management and Good governance (IFIN) is the premier institute in Somalia imparting training to the skilled financial management labor force and the Development Good governance institutions in Somalia. It is the only public institute in Somalia creating the highest number of financial managers and accountants, bankers, and auditors all over the country. We plan to spread our knowledge to across federal member states and BRA in FGS providing training with verified Diplomas.
WHAT WE DO
The overlying goal of the IFIN is to train for excellence (capacity building) to all financial matters within public organizations by encouraging good governance, research and continuing higher education for finance, banking, project management and leadership programs. We seek to achieve our mission through the following:Providing valuable training tools for organizational improvement; delivering effective and reliable hands on methods; after organizations assessment to provide useful blueprint or benchmark data for measuring weakness to strength performance; and fostering an organizations responsiveness to change for potential success.
